Antoine says this is a dumb cartoon, but it made me laugh. But it is dumb.

Triple Threat Rachel Axler contributes today’s take on Number 616:

Again, I love it. Rachel says it would not be suitable for t-shirts, because she stole the picture of Poe from somewhere and just scribbled on it, but I say that that’s found art.

So if I do make t-shirts, I’ll probably use Dan McCoy’s drawing from yesterday, assuming Dan approves, because I don’t want to get sued by Rachel’s victim.

Rachel and Dan are both former “Daily Show” writers, but from different eras of the show. I don’t think they ever worked together — maybe they crossed over at the end of Jon Stewart’s tenure. Anyway, if any Craig Kilborne era “Daily Show” writers want to contribute a cartoon now, I’ll be able to complete the set.
