Four Panels.
In the first panel, a woman brushes a big, hairy (and very happy) black dog. There is a pile of removed fur next to the dog.
In the next panel, the pile of fur is much bigger, but the dog looks exactly the same — just as hairy (and happy) as ever.
Third panel: We’re tight on the frustrated woman’s face as she brushes frantically, trying to get the job over with.
Last panel: The woman is stunned to see that there are now two identical hairy and happy dogs (i.e. the fur pile is now a dog).
This will be funnier in execution than it is in description.
Here’s our annual look at Napoleon, the grandaddy of all “Big Dog” comics:
I could read Napoleon for days.
I’ll be back next week, I think, so you should join me. Draw a cartoon or two, too. I’ll print them here.
Haha, that fur-scenario is relatable: I have it with my cats and often joke about the amount of cats that could be make out of their shedded fur!
