IN APRIL 2019, DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKER MORGAN SPURLOCK WENT TO THE DOCTOR’S OFFICE TO SEEK TREATMENT FOR A THROAT AILMENT. HE WAS ASKED TO SPIT INTO A CUP TO PROVIDE A SAMPLE FOR TESTING BUT, BECAUSE OF HIS SORE THROAT, HE HAD DIFFICULTY COMPLYING. THEN THIS HAPPENED: Morgan Spurlock, who looks embarrassed, stands with a nurse. The nurse is looking into a little paper cup and says: “No spit, Spurlock.”
