Two friends talking. One says: “I’m getting tired of envying the dead.”
Bleak today. Sorry.
I initially set this one on a city street with crime/ noise/ traffic/ etc, but then I realized it wasn’t necessary.
The Spider Widow was a beautiful woman who wore a witch’s mask to fight crime. For some reason she could control black widow spiders. None of that is in evidence here:
I just think this is an intriguing way to start a story. It doesn’t really live up to its promise — except one of the guests turns out to be another hero, The Raven, in disguise, which is a genuine surprise.
Come back next week. I’ll try to, too. Buy your kid “Chapter Two is Missing” for Christmas. Or Halloween. Draw my comics and I’ll post them here.
Thanks, Mitch. Why don't you get my updates? Do I need to put you on a list or something? I don't know how this works.
Great story and hope your feeling some better Josh . I don't get your updates anymore so can only see them if i catch them here . Get better my friend
