A couple reading their menus at a restaurant. The menu covers reads AUTHENTIC FIJIAN CUISINE. One of the diners asks the Waiter: “Is the ‘Long Pig’ locally sourced?” She doesn’t notice the chef standing behind her with an upraised axe.
That’s very locally sourced.
This is not to pick on Fiji; pretty much every civilization practiced cannibalism at one time or another, but Fiji was known as “The Cannibal Islands,” so it seemed like the natural culinary locale for this joke. And I don’t think that they really ate people for pleasure — it was more of a war/ ritual thing. On a side note: I’ve always been fascinated by the term “Long Pig” for human flesh.
Ali Redford returns with a really wonderful eight seven five:
Ali, this is your best yet. The look of delight on the newcomer’s face is awesome. The angels look so content, and the hint of cerulean blue makes all serene. My favorite part is the guy blowing smoke rings. Thank you.
Note: Ali says that this is “REALLY late” but here’s a reminder — you can’t be late with these. I don’t need the most recent cartoons drawn. Draw cartoon number one if you want! In fact, please do; I still really like that one.
Draw.
